A New Jersey woman, Victoria Anne Cranmer, 25, has been arrested and charged with multiple offenses, including second-degree sexual assault and manufacturing child sexual abuse material. Authorities allege Cranmer sexually assaulted a child younger than 13, recorded the act, and shared at least one video on the social media platform Snapchat.
The incident reportedly occurred on May 6 within the bathroom of a Little Egg Harbor home while the child was under Cranmer's care. Court documents state that investigators identified Cranmer through distinctive tattoos visible in the 14-second recording, including one on her leg.
The investigation commenced on May 20 when the New Jersey Division of Child Protection and Permanency referred the allegations to the Little Egg Harbor Police Department and the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office Special Victims Unit. Detectives obtained search warrants for Cranmer's cellphone and her Snapchat account. Investigators reported discovering additional videos saved in Snapchat's Memories feature. According to an affidavit of probable cause, the cellphone was a birthday gift from a former roommate. After the roommate asked Cranmer to move out, she requested the phone back and allegedly discovered the recording while reviewing its contents. The roommate reportedly saved the video and subsequently provided the device to investigators.
Court documents cited by NJ.com indicate that Cranmer was allegedly laughing during the assault in the video. At least one recording was shared on Snapchat, according to reports. Cranmer was booked into the Ocean County Jail and is being held without bail. Fox News Digital has reached out to the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office for further information and to ascertain if Cranmer has legal representation.
