The latest installment in the horror franchise, ‘Evil Dead Burn,’ is now accessible on digital platforms for purchase and rental, beginning Tuesday, August 4. The film, which is a standalone sequel to the 2013 ‘Evil Dead’ and 2023’s ‘Evil Dead Rise,’ can be acquired on services including Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, and Fandango At Home.
Digital purchase prices for ‘Evil Dead Burn’ are set at $24.99, with rental options available for $19.99. Renters will have a 48-hour window to view the film after starting playback. Amazon Prime Video is also offering a two-movie bundle of ‘Evil Dead Rise’ and ‘Evil Dead Burn’ for $29.99.
The physical release of ‘Evil Dead Burn’ on 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD is scheduled for September 22, 2026. Both digital and physical editions will include bonus features, such as making-of segments focusing on a significant one-shot sequence and details on the film's stunts and special effects.
While not yet available on subscription-based streaming services, ‘Evil Dead Burn’ is expected to be added to HBO Max in the near future. As a Warner Bros. production, the film is anticipated to stream on the company’s owned platform. A specific streaming date has not been confirmed, but based on previous Warner Bros. film releases, it could arrive on HBO Max around early to late September 2026, potentially following the DVD release.
‘Evil Dead Burn’ is directed by Sébastien Vaniček, who was chosen by producer Sam Raimi after Vaniček’s 2023 directorial debut, ‘Infested.’ The film stars Souheila Yacoub as Alice, a character who encounters demonic possessions, or “Deadites,” among her late husband’s family in a secluded setting. The franchise draws from Sam Raimi’s 1981 cult classic, ‘The Evil Dead.’
