A&E is set to premiere a new two-part documentary, "Scott Peterson: The New Evidence," which will reexamine the 2002 deaths of Laci and Conner Peterson. Scott Peterson is currently serving a life sentence for the murder of his wife, Laci, and their unborn son, Conner, on Christmas Eve 2002.

The documentary aims to present a multidimensional exploration of the events, focusing on previously unexamined angles and shedding light on lingering questions surrounding the case. According to the synopsis, multiple petitions filed by Peterson's defense team have introduced additional points of new evidence that may challenge key aspects of the original case.

"Scott Peterson: The New Evidence" will air on A&E. Part 1 is scheduled to premiere on Thursday, July 16, at 9:00 p.m. ET, and Part 2 will debut on Friday, July 17, at 8:00 p.m. ET.
