Nets Finalize Training Camp Roster with Signings of Dainja and Humrichous
Brooklyn Nets add forwards Dain Dainja and Ben Humrichous to complete their 21-man training camp roster.
The Brooklyn Nets have signed forwards Dain Dainja and Ben Humrichous, finalizing their 21-man training camp roster. Both players participated in the Nets' Summer League games.
Dainja, 24, and Humrichous are expected to be on Exhibit 10 contracts, a type of deal that could lead to G-League bonuses. They are likely headed to the G-League Long Island team after training camp, where they could earn up to $91,000 after 60 days of service.
Humrichous, a 6-foot-7 forward, went undrafted in June after playing a reserve role for the University of Illinois' Final Four team. In his college season, he averaged 5.8 points and 3.9 rebounds per game, shooting 36.1 percent from three-point range.
Dainja, who is 24, was undrafted a year prior to Humrichous and spent the previous season with the Miami Heat's G-League affiliate. The Nets will need to acquire his returning player rights from the Sioux Falls Skyforce.
