“The Ultimatum” star Blake Robertson has publicly denied allegations of domestic abuse made by his ex-fiancée, Hayley Hendrich, stating he was acting in self-defense during an incident that led to his arrest in October 2025.
Robertson, 26, told Page Six that he “felt unsafe” with Hendrich during the altercation, which he claims resulted in their breakup. He vehemently denied the allegations against him, emphasizing that he does not take physically confronting someone lightly.
According to a booking summary obtained by Page Six, Robertson was arrested in Nacogdoches, Texas, on Oct. 18, 2025, and charged with a Class C misdemeanor for assault. In Texas, this charge typically results in a fine of up to $500 with no jail time.
Hendrich, 23, reportedly chose not to press charges against Robertson after a private conversation, stating she wanted him to take public responsibility for his alleged actions. Robertson’s lawyer told TMZ that the case was dismissed by the prosecutor shortly after and all records were expunged.
The resurfacing of the incident follows the release of Season 4 of “The Ultimatum” on Netflix on July 15, 2026, with news of Robertson’s arrest breaking on July 18.
Hendrich discussed the incident on the “What’s the Reality” podcast, where she claimed the breakup occurred after Robertson bought drinks for other women and drove while intoxicated during a trip to Charleston, South Carolina. Robertson denied this to Page Six.
Robertson stated that the final incident before his arrest occurred a week prior to his booking. He told Page Six that after Hendrich allegedly poured a beer on him, he asked her to move out of his home. Hendrich confirmed pouring beer on him but added that during an argument, she attempted to confront him while he was in a car. She alleged that she shoved him through the rolled-down window, and he then allegedly grabbed her by her shoulders and pushed her against a friend's car.
Robertson disputed this account, telling Page Six that Hendrich approached him aggressively while he was with friends. He claimed he exited the car to de-escalate the situation by guiding her hands away from him, escorting her to her friend's car, and placing her in the backseat. He asserted that he did not put his hands on her in an aggressive manner, calling his actions a form of self-defense to create distance.
Hendrich alleged that Robertson arrested the following week when he allegedly grabbed her by her sweatshirt and pulled her forward as she was preparing to move out. She claimed she recorded this altercation and showed the video to responding officers.
Robertson denied this, telling Page Six that the only time he placed hands on Hendrich was to gently lift her off a chair. He expressed regret for not leaving his home immediately after the incident and calling the police, stating, “I take accountability.” Robertson also claimed he called the police from his father’s residence to report Hendrich for refusing to leave his home.
Robertson stated he believes a “suppression campaign” is underway against him, preventing him from fully sharing his narrative. He acknowledged having areas where he accepts responsibility but also intends to highlight aspects of Hendrich's behavior.
Hendrich told Us Weekly that reliving the alleged domestic violence incident during the show's streaming has been difficult, especially in the public eye. She alluded to her decision not to press charges as a way to protect Robertson from negative consequences.
“The Ultimatum” was filmed from March to May 2025, prior to Robertson’s arrest. Hendrich and Robertson became engaged on the show but ended their relationship four months later in September 2025. They lived together until the alleged incident in October 2025.
