Netanyahu Praises Hero Who Thwarted Plane Hijacking

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has commended a man who bravely intervened in an in-flight incident, preventing what authorities feared could have been a hijacking. The incident occurred on a flydubai flight, where a passenger reportedly engaged in a stabbing.

Netanyahu described the individual as a "lion" for his actions, implying that his intervention may have averted a catastrophe potentially akin to the September 11th attacks. The Prime Minister vowed that Israel would investigate the full circumstances surrounding the event. While specific details of the perpetrator and their motives were not immediately clear, the quick actions of the passenger are being credited with maintaining the safety of those on board. The New York Post reported on Netanyahu's praise for the man and his commitment to understanding the event's background.
