Netanyahu Endorses Trump, Citing Shared Stance on Iran and Economic Policy

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has endorsed former President Donald Trump, praising his leadership and predicting that the elimination of the threat from Iran would lead to lower global gas prices. The endorsement came with a vow that both leaders would prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons.

In remarks that appeared to signal a shift in international alliances ahead of an Israeli election, Netanyahu hailed Trump as the "greatest friend of Israel" and expressed confidence in their shared vision for regional stability. The Prime Minister emphasized the strategic importance of confronting Tehran's regime, suggesting it was a key factor in global economic conditions, particularly energy prices.

This public support from a prominent international leader highlights the evolving dynamics in Middle Eastern politics and underscores the strong relationship Netanyahu has cultivated with the former U.S. president. The statement suggests a continuation of policies focused on countering Iranian influence, a cornerstone of both leaders' foreign policy agendas during Trump's presidency.
