Neil Patrick Harris, 53, displayed a sculpted physique while enjoying a family day at sea aboard Elton John's yacht. The actor, known for his role in "How I Met Your Mother," was seen with his husband David Burtka, 51, and their children off the coast of the South of France.
Harris was observed rinsing off in an outdoor shower and later moving around the boat in swimming trunks, sunglasses, and a necklace. Burtka wore orange swimming trunks and a coordinating top. The couple were accompanied by their children and also interacted with Elton John's husband, David Furnish.
The two families have maintained a friendship for over a decade, a bond that reportedly began when both couples were expecting children around the same time. Harris recalled on "The Howard Stern Show" that he and Burtka bonded with John and Furnish over their shared anticipation of becoming fathers. Harris and Burtka welcomed twins via surrogacy in 2010.
The group appeared to be enjoying the late summer weather before the children returned to school. Harris was also seen using a jet ski during the outing.
In a 2024 interview with People, Harris and Burtka spoke about their relationship with their now-teenage children, noting that the kids' friends have called them the "coolest parents." Harris described their children as mature and said they work to instill values in them. Burtka added that they are told they are the "coolest parents out of all the friend groups."
