Approximately 29,628 pounds of raw beef imported from Argentina have been recalled in Florida and Texas after failing to undergo mandatory import reinspection upon arrival in the United States. The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced the recall, classifying it as high or medium risk with a potential health hazard.

The beef products, distributed by Florida-based company Corte Argentino USA LLC, were found to have bypassed the necessary reinspection process, which verifies paperwork, labeling, origin, and checks for safety or quality issues. This omission was discovered when FSIS conducted its routine inspection.

The recalled items were produced between May 15, 2026, and May 20, 2026, with use or freeze-by dates ranging from September 15, 2026, to September 20, 2026. Consumers are advised not to consume these products and to discard them or return them to the place of purchase for a refund.

The affected products include various boneless beef cuts from “FrigorIfico Gorina SAIC,” such as “Top Sirloin Butt” (Cuadril Sin Tapa), “Eye Round” (Peceto), “Topside Cap Off” (Nalga AD S/Tapa), “Flat” (Carnaza Cuadrada), and “Knuckle” (Bola de Lomo). Each recalled product should bear the Argentinian establishment number “EST. N° OF. 2025” and the shipping mark “26644-AA”.

While there have been no confirmed reports of illness or injury associated with these products, the recall indicates a “reasonable probability that the use of the product will cause serious, adverse health consequences or death.” Consumers with questions can contact Corte Argentino USA LLC at 786-350-5805 or [email protected].
