The medical drama "Brilliant Minds," starring Zachary Quinto, is set to air its series finale on Wednesday, July 1, at 8 p.m. ET on NBC. The episode, titled "The Way Home," will conclude the show's second season.
According to NBC, the finale will explore testing Wolf and Josh's relationship as they handle a case that affects them personally. Meanwhile, Carol and Thorne will face their own medical mystery with a patient who holds a significant secret. The episode will also see Van return to aid Ericka and Dana through personal challenges.
NBC announced the cancellation of "Brilliant Minds" in May, citing a decline in ratings. Liza Katz, President of Scripted Content at NBCUniversal, stated that the network wanted fans to see the series' conclusion. "Creatively we love the show, and are really proud of the show, and think that the fans deserve to see how the story ends," Katz said in a statement. "It has a great, very satisfying ending."
Fans can watch the finale live on NBC with a cable subscription, or stream it via services such as fuboTV, Sling TV, Hulu + Live TV, DIRECTV, or YouTube TV. Episodes will also be available to stream on Peacock the day after they air.
