An NBC News helicopter crashed live on air on September 17, killing three people. The aircraft plummeted to the ground, erupting into a massive fire.
Terrifying video footage from the incident shows the moments leading up to the crash. Inside the helicopter, a crew member can be heard pleading with the pilot to "pull up" as the chopper violently shook and alarms blared.
The two crew members aboard the helicopter, reporter Eliana Moreno and veteran pilot George Marciniw, both died in the crash. At least one person on the ground was also killed.
