Sara Gore, a host for NBC's 'New York Live' and 'Open House,' has announced she is cancer-free, nearly three months after revealing her breast cancer diagnosis live on air. Gore, 50, shared the news on social media, stating she is "doing really well" and is "currently cancer free."

"Hallelujah," she wrote. "I’m still in the reconstruction phase and will be for months. It’s truly a journey. Healing has taken some time, but every week I’ve felt a little more like me again."

Gore initially disclosed her diagnosis on April 30, explaining she would be stepping away for treatment and surgery. At the time, she admitted to feeling scared but also expressed hope, noting she had an "assumption" she might develop cancer due to her mother and sister having battled the illness. "I always knew I was high-risk. I always assumed this day would come," she said in April. "But let me tell you, you are never ready."

She revealed that while she was doing everything right and caught the cancer early, the diagnosis was an "emotional blow" that "really stung." Despite the shock, Gore stated she felt she was "exactly where I need to be" and was surrounded by "incredible doctors" and supportive loved ones.

In her recent update, Gore expressed gratitude for the outpouring of support she received, including books, food, flowers, prayers, puzzles, cards, texts, and calls. "You carried me through some really hard days, and I’ll never forget your kindness," she wrote. "I felt EVERY bit of it."

She anticipates returning to 'New York Live' and 'Open House' soon and is looking forward to it. Until then, Gore is enjoying quiet mornings and appreciating moments she might usually overlook. "It’s good to be here. I love you all," she concluded.

Her announcement was met with congratulations from fellow media personalities. Rosanna Scotto, co-host of 'Good Day New York,' wrote, "This is the best news. Sending you a big hug. We are overdue." Television host Lauren Scala commented, "Hi Friend! Love you and your pretty face!"

Gore hosts 'Open House,' an NBC show focused on luxury properties and celebrity homes, and 'New York Live,' a daily lifestyle series covering celebrity news, fashion, and more.
