Natasha Kaplinsky, the former BBC newsreader, has separated from her husband of 20 years, investment banker Justin Bower. Both Kaplinsky and Bower are 54 years old.
Sources close to the couple have described Kaplinsky as being "devastated" by the split. Kaplinsky was the first newsreader to reportedly earn £1 million annually and won the debut series of Strictly Come Dancing. She has previously experienced challenges in her romantic life.
