Singer Natasha Bedingfield commanded attention at the Austin City Limits Music Festival in Texas on Friday, performing in a daring leather outfit. The 44-year-old artist embraced a rocker aesthetic with a black leather bralette and choker, paired with sequined high-waisted underwear and patchwork trousers.

Bedingfield later transitioned to a black leather waistcoat adorned with tassels and a matching skirt featuring high slits, embodying a cowboy-inspired vibe. She completed the ensemble with platform black leather ankle boots and sunglasses. The artist shared her enthusiasm for the festival on Instagram, humorously pretending to ride a digger like a horse.

The resurgence of Bedingfield's 2004 hit "Unwritten" in 2023, amplified by its use in the romcom "Anyone But You" and its popularity on TikTok, has brought renewed attention to the singer. She revealed that the song was originally a gift for her younger brother, Joshua, when she was away writing her album. "Twenty years on, my perspective on [Unwritten] is entirely different," Bedingfield stated, reflecting on how the song has evolved in meaning for her.

She noted that the track's renewed resonance with Gen Z feels like a return to a timeless quality. "Everyone sings along with so much passion, and I'm just loving it and feeling the joy," she said.

Bedingfield also commented on the evolution of her creative freedom, contrasting her early career with the present. "My label wanted me to be the 'girl next door,' so I'm really enjoying having more creative freedom now," she explained, emphasizing her current view that "it's all art. Music is art, the body is art, and fashion is art."
