White House aide Natalie Harp has become the subject of public discussion after Senator Jon Ossoff mentioned her in a critique of President Trump. While Harp has not directly addressed Ossoff's comments, other White House staff and Republican figures have publicly defended her. Davis Ingle, a White House spokesperson, described Ossoff's remarks as "cringeworthy" in a statement to TIME, also questioning the Senator's legislative record.

Ingle asserted that "Natalie Harp is one of the most loyal and hardest working aides on President Trump’s team." Eric Trump, the President's son, also criticized a CNN interview concerning Preston Harp, calling it "absolute trash." He characterized Natalie Harp as "an incredible young woman — a cancer survivor, a genuinely good person, and arguably one of the hardest-working people in the White House. She’s deeply committed to my father, to her job, and to this country."
