A married officer with the Metro Nashville Police Department has resigned following an investigation into serious departmental violations, including conduct unbecoming an officer and inappropriate sexual activity while on duty. The officer, Lisa Vidrios, admitted to the violations as part of a settlement that included a 30-day suspension prior to her resignation.
The investigation began in May 2025 after a complaint was filed against Vidrios and an 18-year veteran officer. According to an investigative summary from the Office of Professional Accountability, the two officers engaged in sexual activity on duty in an MNPD vehicle and within a middle school where Vidrios served as a school resource officer. The affair reportedly began in May 2025 and included multiple encounters, some of which were recorded on Vidrios' phone, showing the two having sex in her school resource office. The report notes that children were inside the school building during these times.
The veteran officer has not been interviewed by the OPA as his injury-on-duty pension was approved earlier this year, precluding an interview. Vidrios, who had previously been highlighted as part of the first married couple to graduate together from the Metro Police Academy, resigned from the force after the settlement.
In a separate account, a 55-year-old married woman, identified as Amanda, shared an experience of having a sexual encounter with her future son-in-law. She described the event as a "hot romp" that originated from his idea. Amanda, who has embraced a swinging lifestyle for the past 15 years, stated that neither her husband nor her daughter had an issue with the encounter. She indicated that her daughter was "completely on board and enjoyed the outcome," emphasizing consent as a core principle within their lifestyle. The woman suggested that the situation made the sex "even hotter."
