Naomi Campbell Reunites with Ex-Fiancé Flavio Briatore at Azerbaijan Grand Prix
The supermodel and the businessman, who ended their engagement 24 years ago, were seen together at the Baku City Circuit.
Supermodel Naomi Campbell, 56, was seen with her former fiancé Flavio Briatore, 76, at the Grand Prix in Azerbaijan on Thursday. The pair, who were engaged after dating from 1998 until 2002, reunited for a stroll in the Paddock at the Baku City Circuit.
Campbell sported a stylish outfit of wide-legged white trousers paired with a simple black vest top. She accessorized with Chanel slip-ons, sunglasses, and carried a £2,000 Chanel Quilted Caviar phone holder. Briatore wore his F1-sponsored navy polo shirt and orange-rimmed sunglasses.
Briatore, who is 21 years Campbell's senior, previously commented on their split, stating, "She's great but better as a friend than a girlfriend!" Despite their engagement ending, the two have remained friendly over the years, with reports of them enjoying holidays together.
Campbell has recently been the subject of reports suggesting she is making Milan her new home base. Forbes reported that the model has relocated from London to a property in an exclusive area of the Italian city. Campbell has fueled these speculations by sharing photos from a Milan shoot with photographer German Larkin, using the hashtag #CASA and posting an image with Milan-based entrepreneur Leonardo Maria Del Vecchio with the caption 'Project' and an Italian flag.
While born in Lambeth and frequently in London, Campbell reportedly does not own a permanent home in the city, often staying in hotels or renting. She does, however, own a property in New York, a condo in Tribeca, after selling a Park Avenue apartment in 2006. The model also owns a villa in Malindi, Kenya, which she toured for Architectural Digest in 2021. This Kenyan property is part of an eco-resort developed by Briatore.
Campbell is a mother to two children, a daughter born in 2021 and a son born in 2023, both welcomed via surrogate. She previously clarified that her children were not adopted and discussed her dedication to motherhood, telling The Times, "My babies are everything to me. It's made me fear for the future." She expressed her commitment to being present for her children, stating, "They are 110 percent my priority. I have to be there for them on their first day at school."
