Police in Readington Township, New Jersey, are seeking the public's assistance to identify a naked e-bike rider who has been observed on local trails for years. The Readington Township Police Department recently obtained a photograph of the individual after receiving numerous reports from residents.
In a social media post, the police department shared an image of the cyclist, noting that "certain portions of the image have been appropriately ‘secured.’" The photograph appears to show an older man wearing a helmet while riding an e-bike on a trail.
The department humorously reminded the public, stating, "And as a friendly reminder: helmets are strongly encouraged. Pants are even more strongly encouraged." They are asking anyone with information to come forward to help identify the individual, described as a "free-spirited."
One social media comment indicated that the cyclist had been seen in the same condition a year prior, with the commenter stating, "Seen that guy a year ago pedaling around naked! No one believed me!" The police are encouraging residents to contact them with any information that could lead to identification.
