Nadia Bartel Congratulates Ex-Husband Jimmy Bartel on New Baby

Nadia Bartel has revealed she contacted her AFL legend ex-husband Jimmy, after he recently welcomed his second child with new partner Amelia Shepperd. The fashion designer, 41, who attended Derby Day on Saturday in a white designer gown, told the Daily Mail she had reached out to Jimmy, 42, earlier this week to offer her well wishes.

'I did congratulate him and Millie! It is such great news. They have a little daughter!' Nadia said. When asked if they were all one big happy family, Nadia quipped, 'I won't answer that!' She also shared that she and her boyfriend Peter Dugmore are not currently focused on marriage, stating, 'He's a great partner, a great guy. But we are not too fussed, we very rarely chat about it, and we have been living together for such a long time.' She added, 'I feel like we do all the things a married couple would do... we just don't have the rings!'

Jimmy and Amelia welcomed their daughter, Kaia Rae Bartel, on October 28, 2026. This is their second child together, with older daughter Paloma Lucie, three. Jimmy also shares two sons with his ex-wife Nadia: Henley, seven, and Aston, 10. Jimmy and Amelia announced they were expecting their first child in October 2022.

Jimmy Bartel and Nadia Bartel split in 2019 after five years of marriage and 11 years together.
