Mystery Surrounds Death of Woman Last Seen at Hair Salon
Police are appealing for information after a 31-year-old woman was found dead four days after she was last seen.
Police are seeking information regarding the death of Payge Leembruggen, 31, who was discovered near Mackay Harbour North Wall on Tuesday morning. Emergency services were alerted around 8 a.m. after a member of the public found Ms. Leembruggen.
Ms. Leembruggen was last seen on September 11 at approximately 8:55 a.m. at a hair salon located on Celeber Drive in Andergrove. Investigations into the circumstances and cause of her death are currently underway.
Authorities have published an appeal for witnesses who may have seen Ms. Leembruggen between September 11 and September 15, or who possess any information that could assist the ongoing investigation.
She is described as Caucasian, approximately 178 cm tall, with brown hair. At the time she was last seen, she was wearing a white top, bright red trousers, and had a red bow in her hair.
