Myles Garrett's Dog Bojji to Star in Paramount Film

Los Angeles Rams defensive end Myles Garrett is venturing into Hollywood, starring alongside his German Shepherd, Bojji, in Paramount Pictures' upcoming film, "Heart of the Beast."

Garrett announced his involvement in promoting the film, which will feature Bojji in a significant role. In a promotional video, Garrett is seen with Bojji in an open field, narrating over the film's trailer. He draws parallels between his bond with Bojji and the relationship between the film's main character, James Belmont, played by Brad Pitt, and his dog.

"In Heart of the Beast, James and Oden [Bojji’s character] have an incredibly strong bond, and I feel I have something similar with Bojji," Garrett stated. "As simple as greeting me every time I come to the door, or waking me up in the morning and always sticking by my side. That means the world to me. That’s special enough, regardless of what happens on the field, you know, having those moments with him."

Garrett described Bojji as his "best friend" and his "ride or die," emphasizing the depth of their connection.

"Heart of the Beast" is a survival thriller centered on Pitt's character and his dog, Oden, who are stranded in the Alaskan wilderness after a plane crash. They must navigate their way back to civilization. The film also features Anna Lambe, known for her roles in "The Grizzlies" and "Dusk & Dawn," as the character Amber, and J.K. Simmons as Walter Boone. The film is scheduled for release on September 25.

This cinematic venture comes as Garrett faces a setback in his football career. He was placed on the Rams' injured reserve list on Sunday, requiring arthroscopic knee surgery. Head coach Sean McVay has not provided a timeline for Garrett's return to the field, meaning he will miss at least four games. His debut with the Rams was reportedly disappointing, with concerns over his knee injury adding to the team's worries.
