Myleene Klass Joins Classic FM Live Amid Hear'Say Reunion Absence
The singer hosted Classic FM Live at the Royal Albert Hall, while former bandmates participated in a reunion tour.
Myleene Klass showcased a voluminous blue ballgown as she navigated travel to host Classic FM Live on Monday. The singer, 48, shared behind-the-scenes moments from the event, which occurred as it was revealed she would not be participating in a reunion tour with her former bands Hear'Say and Liberty X. Klass cited being "too busy" for the two-week tour.
While Klass was en route to London's Royal Albert Hall, where she co-hosted the musical event with Dan Walker, her former bandmates were promoting their reunion tour on the television program This Morning. The other members of Hear'Say, along with Liberty X, commented on Klass's absence from the 25-year reunion, with Kym Marsh calling it "a shame." Marsh stated that while it's unfortunate Klass couldn't join, "it just isn't the time for her" as she is busy, but they "had to take the opportunity" for the reunion.
Klass had previously explained on Loose Women that her bandmates were "really sweet" and included her in discussions, but "it's not something I can commit to at the moment." She reiterated that she is "super busy" and committed to her current projects. Social media reactions included some fans suggesting Klass views the tour as "beneath her," while others urged her to remember her roots.
When asked by hosts Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard if there was any doubt about the reunion, Marsh indicated the primary logistical challenge was fitting it in with their "day jobs." Noel Sullivan noted that a previous attempt at a reunion for their 20th anniversary didn't work out, making him happy to be involved in the 25th anniversary celebration.
Klass reflected positively on her time in Hear'Say, stating she "loves the guys dearly" and that it was an "incredibly important time" that taught her a lot. She has not entirely ruled out future involvement with Hear'Say, expressing a willingness to attend their performances. She mentioned that while she doesn't "really agree on revisiting the past," she would "never say never about anything."
