Myleene Klass Emulates Victoria Beckham's Iconic Pose Amidst Hear'Say Reunion Snub
The television personality showcased her fashion range with a signature leg-up pose, previously popularized by the Spice Girls member, while her former bandmates embark on a reunion tour.
Myleene Klass recently adopted Victoria Beckham's signature leg-up pose while promoting her new fashion collection. The move comes as Klass opted out of a reunion tour with her former band, Hear'Say.
Klass shared a video on Instagram demonstrating the pose, which involves propping one leg high in the air while seated, often on a sofa. She was pictured in a £65 black glitzy party dress with sheer sleeves and a keyhole detail, posed on a pink vintage sofa. She captioned the post "Sofa surfing."
Victoria Beckham frequently posts images of herself performing a similar high leg kick, a pose she attributes to her ballet training. Like Klass, Beckham has also been the sole member of her iconic group, the Spice Girls, to not participate in recent reunion efforts.
While Klass has been busy with other engagements, including the Sky Arts Awards and Classic FM Live, the other members of Hear'Say discussed her absence from their 25-year reunion. Appearing on "This Morning," Kym Marsh described it as "a shame" that Klass could not join, citing scheduling conflicts and her current commitments.
"She's busy. But we had to take the opportunity because there's nine of us... It's a shame but we're so excited," Marsh stated. She also noted that while Klass was involved in discussions, the timing was not right for her to commit.
Klass had previously told "Loose Women" viewers that her bandmates were supportive and included her in conversations, but she was unable to commit due to her demanding schedule. "I just really can't. I know that they're still figuring out a lot of the moving parts of it. But for me, I'm just super busy. I'm committed to you guys," she explained.
The decision has drawn varied reactions from fans on social media, with some suggesting Klass views the tour as beneath her, while others urged her to remember her roots. Hear'Say, formed on the reality talent show "Popstars," disbanded in 2002. The upcoming anniversary tour will feature four of its original members and will include performances with fellow "Popstars" group Liberty X.
