My Kitchen Rules personality Gianni Romano has officially introduced his new girlfriend, socialite Gracie Stewart, who is reportedly in her twenties. The move comes after Romano's split from his wife of 10 years, Zana Pali, in 2024. Romano, 37, shared photos from his year in 2025, which included a selfie with Stewart and a video of them kissing on a beach.
The couple was first seen together in September of last year at the JW Foundation Starry Night gala in Melbourne, an event Zana Pali also attended. A friend described Romano as "smitten" and noted that Stewart "doesn't mind being spoiled."
Sources indicate that Romano and Stewart were friends before their relationship turned romantic. Their age difference has reportedly drawn attention in their Brighton neighborhood. Speculation about their relationship was further fueled by Romano's recent public declaration.
Zana Pali, 35, confirmed her ex-husband has a new partner, telling The Daily Mail, "Yeah, he's re-partnered... I'm really happy for him." She added that Stewart "will help him as well. You know, for the support. Because it's not easy."
Pali also discussed her decision to end the 10-year marriage, stating she was the one who initiated the divorce. "I did. I left," she admitted. "I think, for a woman, you check out many, many years earlier. It takes us a long time, especially with children, young kids. You know, you always stay for the family. Stay for the children."
She explained that she felt she was "living with a roommate" and that the unhappiness led to depression, with days where she "couldn't get out of bed." Pali cited growing apart as a primary reason for the separation, noting significant personal changes from her twenties into her thirties and as a mother. She stated she was "not in love with this person, so I can't do this anymore."
The decision to end the marriage reportedly came on their 10-year anniversary. "Ten-year wedding anniversary was my light-bulb moment where I was like, 'I can't do this,'" Pali confessed. "Because it was 10 years and I'm like, 'What am I doing? Ten years of marriage and I'm not happy.' And I'm like, 'I just can't do it anymore. I'm not in love with you anymore.' So that was it... Not long after that, I moved out."
Pali described Romano as blindsided by the separation, calling him "oblivious" to her emotional detachment from the relationship. She elaborated on how men may not recognize when a woman has mentally checked out, attributing it to differences in how couples express marital dissatisfaction.
Romano attempted to salvage the relationship, but Pali stated she was "done" and could not go back. "When I'm done, I'm done. I can't go back [after] I made that decision in my mind," she said. "I feel like, for women, we get to a point where we've tried everything."
She characterized Romano as a "great person" and "great dad" who will make another woman happy, but emphasized that the emotional connection between them had vanished. Pali confirmed she is currently single and seeking a partner who would be a positive influence on her sons, Leonardo, seven, and Romeo, six.
The former couple's marital home in Brighton reportedly sold for approximately $10 million after their separation.
Romano and Pali were married in November 2014 and welcomed their sons in 2018 and 2020.
