Muse frontman Matthew Bellamy has filed for divorce from model Elle Evans, seeking legal and physical custody of their two young children. Bellamy initiated the divorce proceedings on August 12 in Los Angeles, citing irreconcilable differences.

In the court documents, Bellamy also invoked the couple's prenuptial agreement concerning financial matters. While the specifics of the agreement remain private, court documents indicate Bellamy proposed that Evans could receive spousal support, while he would not seek any payments from her. The full extent of their separate assets, community property, and debts is yet to be determined, with Bellamy reserving the right to amend his petition as the divorce progresses.

Bellamy previously revealed in a June interview that he and Evans had separated the previous summer, describing the situation as arising from unexpected circumstances. He stated that his priority during the separation was the well-being of their children and maintaining stability at home.

Bellamy and Evans were first linked in 2015 and became engaged in December 2017. They married in 2019. The couple has a daughter born in 2020 and a son born in 2024.
