Muse Frontman Matt Bellamy Moves On, Goes Instagram Official with New Girlfriend Two Months After Divorce Filing

Muse frontman Matt Bellamy has revealed his new romance with American influencer AnneMarie Morin, 34, just two months after filing for divorce from his wife, Elle Evans.

Bellamy, 48, made his relationship Instagram official on Thursday, sharing a kiss with Morin, a bakery owner, in photos posted to social media. He captioned the post, "new part time job, boss is a tough cookie @cloudcookiechi." Morin also shared photos from her visit to Bellamy in Devon, UK.

The swift public acknowledgment of the new relationship has drawn comments from fans, many of whom expressed surprise at how quickly Bellamy has moved on.

Divorce Proceedings

In August, Bellamy filed a petition for dissolution of marriage in Los Angeles Superior Court, citing "irreconcilable differences." While a specific date of separation is pending determination, reports indicate that Bellamy and Evans separated sometime last year.

Bellamy is seeking sole legal and physical custody of their two children, six-year-old daughter Lovella and two-year-old son George. He is also requesting that the court award spousal support to Evans, in accordance with their prenuptial agreement.

Evans has stated that the divorce filing was "a long time coming" and has vowed to fight for custody of their children, describing her marriage to Bellamy as "unbearable."

Relationship Timeline

Bellamy and Evans began dating 11 years ago after meeting on the set of Muse's music video for "Mercy." They married in August 2019 in Malibu. Their first child, Lovella, was born in 2020, followed by their son George in 2024.

Reports of their separation surfaced in February of this year, and Bellamy confirmed the split in an interview in June, stating that the separation had "threw [him] off." He described it as a situation involving "unexpected circumstances" that required him to prioritize his children and home stability.

Bellamy explained that music became a "lifeline" during this period, with his emotions pouring into Muse's latest album, "The Wow! Signal," released in June. He described the album's creation as a "catharsis" and suggested it was perhaps the easiest album for him to make, allowing him to explore an "existential crisis."

Bellamy and Evans made their last public appearance together in March 2025 at the MobLand premiere in London. Prior to his marriage to Evans, Bellamy was engaged to actress Kate Hudson, with whom he shares a 15-year-old son, Bingham.
