Corporate employees of Madison Square Garden have been prohibited from the arena in the days leading up to the wedding of pop superstar Taylor Swift and NFL player Travis Kelce, according to exclusive reports.

A source told Page Six that the venue is "off limits to all corporate employees this week," and that these employees "were not given a reason why it’s a no-go zone." The ban is expected to last until July 5, when employees will be permitted to return to work.

Further restrictions are reportedly in place for staffers in the event production department, who are not allowed to have their phones on them, presumably to prevent any leaks or unauthorized photography of the wedding preparations. These employees are also said to be undergoing an additional layer of security and are required to wear wristbands.

Event staff are scheduled to begin setting up in the arena early Friday morning. Madison Square Garden has no events listed on its calendar between June 29 and July 6, a period that allows for significant privacy and security for the event.

Reports suggest an intimate ceremony with approximately 100 close family and friends is planned for Thursday, followed by a larger celebration on Friday for around 1,000 guests. Performers Stevie Nicks and Tim McGraw are rumored to be part of the larger event.

Invitations reportedly required guests to sign non-disclosure agreements, underscoring the emphasis on secrecy surrounding the nuptials. Details about the event's organization indicate that Los Angeles-based celebrity wedding planner Mark Seed has been involved for months. Members of Swift's team have also been observed at Rock Lititz, a production campus known for building concert sets.

City Hall has confirmed that a permit application was filed with the Street Activity Permit Office for July 2 to July 4. The application, submitted by Winick Productions, a known event planning company, requested street closures around the arena and permission for a large tent or canopy to be erected outside.

Vendor trucks have been seen delivering materials such as drapery, lights, chairs, tables, and a large mirror ball to the premises. Swift and Kelce, both 36, have reportedly invited numerous A-list celebrities, including some of Kelce's Kansas City Chiefs teammates.

Travis Kelce proposed to Swift in August 2025, after two years of dating. The couple has properties in various locations, including New York City, Los Angeles, Nashville, Missouri, Kansas, and Rhode Island, where the wedding was initially rumored to take place.
