MSG Networks and YES Network are shifting their streaming operations to DAZN, a London-based platform, beginning in the fall. This move will consolidate live streaming coverage of teams including the Yankees, Knicks, Rangers, Islanders, Nets, and Sabres under the DAZN banner. The agreement also includes the streaming of 24/7 feeds and on-demand content from MSG and YES Network.
Subscribers within the networks' respective coverage areas who already receive the channels as part of their TV packages will gain access to streaming via DAZN without additional cost. While pricing for new DAZN subscriptions was not announced, the current Gotham Sports app offers monthly and annual plans, with options for single-game or day viewing.
The partnership signals an end to the Gotham Sports app, a joint venture by MSG Networks and YES Network designed for direct-to-consumer streaming. The transition is slated to occur during the 2026-27 NBA and NHL seasons, with Yankees fans able to continue using their current app for the ongoing baseball season. Existing Gotham Sports app subscribers will not experience service interruptions during the migration.
Jon Litner, President & CEO of YES Network, stated that the move aligns with a strategic vision to evolve their product and partner with a global leader in digital streaming. Kevin Marotta, MSG Networks SVP of content and marketing, expressed enthusiasm for offering MSG Networks content on DAZN's platform, aiming to enhance the streaming experience for fans following a successful Knicks season.
DAZN has been expanding its presence in the U.S. market, having served as the exclusive global broadcaster for the Club World Cup in 2025. The platform is reportedly nearing exclusive local broadcast rights for several other NBA teams and exploring direct-to-consumer deals with additional franchises.
