Mother Pleads for Daughter's Safe Return After Six Days Missing
A 13-year-old girl, last seen boarding a bus at a shopping center, remains missing as her mother makes an emotional appeal.
The mother of a 13-year-old girl who has been missing for six days has made an emotional plea for her safe return. Lillia, from Bolton, Greater Manchester, was last seen on Saturday at 1:50 p.m. at the Trafford Centre shopping complex.
She boarded the 247 bus heading towards Altrincham. Greater Manchester Police stated it is unclear how long she remained on the bus or where she disembarked.
Lillia was wearing a black zip-up hooded top, light blue baggy jeans, and a black Nike backpack. She is described as white, slim, approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall, with light brown hair and wears glasses.
Her mother, Jessica, directly appealed to Lillia, saying, "Lill, I love you so so much. My heart is breaking without you here. I need to know you are safe. We all need you back home safe and well."
Chief Superintendent Helen Critchley of Greater Manchester Police said officers have conducted extensive inquiries since Lillia was reported missing on Friday and are working tirelessly to find her. She emphasized that the last confirmed sighting is a crucial part of the investigation.
The district commander for Bolton urged anyone who was on the bus and remembers seeing Lillia to come forward. Police are also seeking CCTV or doorbell footage and anyone who has had contact with Lillia since she went missing. Authorities reassured Lillia that she is not in trouble and that her family simply wants her to return home safely.
