Mother of Tyreek Hill's Estranged Wife Testifies Amid Divorce Trial

Tyreek Hill's mother-in-law, Alesia Vaccaro, testified in the divorce trial involving the NFL star and his estranged wife, Keeta Vaccaro, stating that their relationship was chaotic.

Alesia Vaccaro told the court that while she did not directly witness Tyreek Hill strike her daughter, she characterized their relationship as "tumultuous." She was cross-examined for approximately 90 minutes as evidence was presented in the case. This included testimony about a baby monitor video, which was not made available for media recording, where Keeta and Hill could be heard using profanities, accompanied by loud banging sounds.

Keeta Vaccaro is seeking damages and has accused Hill of physical and emotional abuse, allegations the NFL player denies. During the proceedings, Alesia Vaccaro recounted an incident where she intervened, fearing for the baby's safety. She testified, "I walked outside the door, and he was pressed up against her. I went toward them. He pushed me back." She added, "He was screaming, hollering, saying bad words and then he was gonna go and get the baby. My first instinct was to protect the baby."

Alesia stated that she and her daughter then retreated to the child's room and asked Hill not to harm the infant. Although she did not see Hill hit her daughter, Alesia testified that her observations contributed to her assessment of the relationship's volatility.

Alesia's testimony follows several days on the stand from Keeta, who has detailed multiple alleged encounters of physical assault by Hill. Earlier in the trial, Keeta's legal team presented a forensic psychologist who evaluated Keeta and diagnosed her with post-traumatic stress disorder. Defense attorneys questioned the psychologist's qualifications, noting she was an expert witness rather than Keeta's treating physician.

This is not the first time Hill has faced domestic abuse allegations or investigations. In college at Oklahoma State University, he pleaded guilty to domestic assault and battery by strangulation after being accused of assaulting his then-20-year-old girlfriend, receiving three years of probation. He was also investigated in March 2019 after his three-year-old son sustained a broken arm, and for a domestic disturbance with Keeta Vaccaro in 2024. No charges were filed in either of those cases.

The wide receiver is currently recovering from a severe knee injury sustained last season and is seeking to sign with a new NFL team. Hill hopes to return to play in November, but may face disciplinary action under the NFL's personal conduct policy related to Vaccaro's allegations.
