Mother of Three Dies in M4 Crash, Off-Duty Emergency Workers Render Aid

Off-duty emergency service workers attempted to save the life of Jo Law, 31, a devoted mother of three, who died following a car crash on the M4 motorway near Windsor on September 9. The emergency workers were reportedly caught in the traffic and rushed to her aid.
Despite their efforts, Ms. Law, who was traveling alone, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her aunt, Samantha Neal, expressed profound gratitude for the assistance provided, stating that knowing Ms. Law was not alone in her final moments brings the family comfort during their grief.
"Words cannot truly express how grateful we are to know that, in those moments, there were people there with her who stepped forward to help, care for her and do everything they possibly could," Neal said. "To every person who stopped, helped, offered their skills or simply stayed with Jo - from the bottom of our hearts, thank you."
Ms. Law is remembered as a dedicated mother to her children: Harvie, 12, Isla, 9, and Parker, 4. She was a stay-at-home mother who was described as laid back and devoted to her children, with whom she enjoyed outdoor activities like dirt biking and creating TikTok videos.
Her family, who live close to each other, have been brought closer by the tragedy. They had recently returned from a family holiday to Ibiza in August.
Following Ms. Law's death, her family established a GoFundMe appeal, initially aiming to raise £7,000. The fund has since surpassed £17,000, with proceeds intended to cover funeral costs and provide financial support for her children, who are now living with their father full-time.
Ms. Law's funeral is scheduled to take place in mid-October. Her aunt emphasized the devastating loss and the financial challenges the family faces.
"Jo was a loving mum to three beautiful children. They were her world, and they now have to face life without their mum far too soon," Neal said. "As a family, we are trying to come to terms with the unimaginable pain of losing Jo while also facing the financial costs that come with such a sudden and heartbreaking loss."
Ms. Law was born and lived in Swanley, Kent, her entire life. Her family stated she was deeply loved and will not be forgotten, and her children will be made aware of the love their mother received.
