Authorities are investigating the deaths of Nothabo Zandile Tshuma, 42, and her daughters Natalie, 15, and Nala, five. Their bodies were found by police on Monday after they forced entry into a house near Bedford, following reports that the family had not been seen for several days.
A family tribute released on Thursday described the situation as an "unimaginable loss." The statement, issued through the police, expressed gratitude for prayers, messages of comfort, and support. "Your kindness and compassion have brought great strength to our family," the tribute read.
Bedfordshire Police confirmed they are seeking Ndodana Mkhanyisi Tshuma, 45, also known as Mark, in connection with the deaths. He reportedly left the United Kingdom via Heathrow Airport on Saturday, using a British passport.
"As the circumstances surrounding their passing remain the subject of an official investigation, we are unable to comment further at this stage," the family's statement continued. "We are also awaiting guidance from the relevant authorities before confirming funeral and memorial arrangements." An official update will be provided as more information becomes available.
