Morgan Wallen has informed fans that new music is on the horizon as he concludes the touring and promotional cycle for his album "I'm the Problem." The announcement came during a recent performance in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where Wallen addressed an audience of approximately 80,000.

"It’s a little bittersweet because we’re getting close to the end of this tour. Kind of the end of this album’s era, I guess you could say," Wallen told the crowd. "I ain’t really sure exactly what I’m gonna do next, but I do know that I’ve been in the studio. I’ve been making a lot of music. I’m excited about it."

The "Last Night" singer has experienced significant success over the past 18 months. His album "I'm the Problem," released in May 2025, has achieved four-times platinum certification by the RIAA. Alongside his album's success, Wallen has maintained an active touring schedule across the country, with his songs frequently appearing on music charts.

Wallen's continued output of new material follows a period of dominance in the country music landscape. While artists like Ella Langley and Riley Green are also noted for their rising popularity, Wallen remains a leading figure in the genre. Langley, for instance, has been releasing a series of singles and building momentum toward her second album, as reported in coverage related to the 2026 iHeartRadio Music Awards.
