Monet Mazur Confronts Burglars at Hollywood Hills Home

Actress Monet Mazur confronted three masked burglary suspects who attempted to break into her Hollywood Hills home late Saturday night. Mazur, who was inside the residence with her dog, spotted the individuals on her security cameras.

At approximately 11:30 p.m., at least three suspects dressed in black clothing and ski masks approached the property. Upon realizing the home was occupied, the suspects fled the scene without gaining entry.

The Los Angeles Police Department responded to the incident and conducted a search of the surrounding area, including a helicopter patrol, but no suspects were apprehended.

Footage from the scene showed Mazur outside her home with her dog as officers investigated. Pepper spray was visible on the doormat outside the residence following the attempted burglary. Mazur's home is described as a roughly two-bedroom property valued at over $1.5 million, located in the Hollywood Hills.

The incident occurs amidst ongoing concerns about residential burglaries in Los Angeles, particularly in affluent hillside neighborhoods.

Mazur, 49, is an actress, model, and former musician known for her roles in "All American," "Blow," "Torque," "Monster-in-Law," "40 Days and 40 Nights," and "The House Bunny." She has also appeared in numerous television shows and worked as a producer. Her career began in modeling before she moved into film and television. Mazur is the daughter of artist Ruby Mazur and has also been involved in the music industry and serves on the board of Watts Community Core.
