Molly-Mae Hague has revealed that her daughter Bambi has started attending prep school, a step that follows discussions with her fiancé Tommy Fury concerning Traveller traditions around education. Fury, who was raised in a traditional Traveller household, had previously expressed a view that Bambi might not need to attend formal schooling.

Hague shared in a recent YouTube vlog that Bambi, aged three, has begun prep school within her nursery setting, preparing her for formal school entry next September. "She had her first day back to prep school yesterday, back to nursery, but now it's prep school because she's moved up a room and they call it prep school," Hague stated. She also noted that Bambi's friends are wearing uniforms, a detail that initially led to Bambi expressing reluctance.

Fury voiced concerns about the uniform, describing it as "too grown up" for a baby. Hague, however, pushed back on this sentiment, stating, "She's not a baby." She commented on Fury's tendency to dote on their child, acknowledging that it is natural to cherish the limited time a child is a baby.

The couple, who also welcomed son Midas in January, had previously expressed reservations about Bambi's schooling. In March, Hague mentioned they were "on the fence" about sending their daughter to school, citing concerns that she might "lose herself." While open to a Catholic school if it proved suitable, Hague did not rule out homeschooling, emphasizing a desire for Bambi to retain her individuality and "spark."

She described the prospect of handing her child over to the school system for five days a week as "terrifying," given their protective nature and distinct parenting approach. Hague also mentioned visiting a school for Bambi, noting that the experience left them undecided about their next steps.

Hague indicated that Fury's background influences their decisions, though she denied her own views were shaped by his "half-Traveller" heritage. She recalled that two years prior, Fury had raised the possibility of Bambi not attending school, a notion tied to Traveller traditions where children may leave formal education after primary school to learn vocational skills. For boys, this might include trades like bricklaying and tree cutting, while girls are often taught homemaking by their mothers.

Hague asserted that she insisted Bambi would receive a full education. Fury, in a previous appearance on "At Home With The Furys," discussed his upbringing and desire to raise his daughter "the old fashioned way. The right way," emphasizing family orientation. Hague countered, explaining her different upbringing and stating that her children attending school was "absolutely non optional."
