Molly-Mae Hague Keeps Empty £3.8 Million Cheshire Mansion Despite Rental Offers
Influencer cites emotional attachment and potential rental risks as reasons for leaving the property vacant.
Influencer Molly-Mae Hague recently spent quality time with her daughter Bambi in Cheshire, at a time when her £3.8 million mansion in the county remains empty. The six-bedroom property, purchased in April 2022, has been unoccupied for a year, though Hague has used it intermittently as a "content house."
Hague, 27, was seen in an oversized leather jacket and slouchy denim jeans, with Bambi, three, wearing a pale pink wool coat and a pleated skirt. Her fiancé Tommy Fury and their younger child were not present for the outing.
Molly-Mae Hague revealed in a YouTube vlog that the fully furnished mansion is still her property, but she is uncertain about its future. "I still own this house. This house is still our house, but it's empty because obviously we're at the new house now but I'm not really sure what my plan is with this house," she stated.
She explained that the decision to keep the house empty stems from a reluctance to sell or rent it out. "I don't want to just keep this for like a content house because that's absolutely ridiculous, like it's too much of a special house to just keep it for the sake of keeping it," Hague said. She recently turned down a rental offer, explaining, "by the time that you pay tax, without going into too much detail, it didn't really feel worth it to rent it out."
Hague expressed that the idea of strangers living in the house is "really scary." She added, "I'd rather have no one in it than someone in it that may not appreciate it and when it doesn't even really feel that worth it."
The influencer described the property as "too special" to sell or rent at this moment, contemplating that she "might just always keep it because it's just a gorgeous, gorgeous house." She acknowledged the sentimental value, noting that "this house has so many memories it's where Bambi had all her firsts here and this house was such a humongous achievement for me."
Hague and Fury have since moved into a new £5 million Victorian mansion featuring seven bedrooms and an indoor swimming pool. This new residence is considered more suitable as a family home for Bambi and their infant son, Midas. The £3.8 million Cheshire home was initially showcased by Hague during its renovation, featuring a neutral theme with marble tabletops, a home gym, and designer dining chairs. The nursery for Bambi alone reportedly cost £9,500.
The couple experienced a temporary separation in August 2024, during which Fury moved into the new mansion. Hague and Bambi later relocated there full-time in mid-2025, leaving the original £3.8 million home vacant. Hague has been documenting the restoration of their current property room by room.
