Molly-Mae Hague Experiences 'Identity Crisis' Postpartum, Cites Hair Changes

Molly-Mae Hague has shared that she is experiencing an 'identity crisis' as she navigates postpartum changes following the birth of her son, Midas. The former Love Island star, 27, welcomed her second child with Tommy Fury in June and has been candid about the ways her appearance has shifted.

Hague revealed that her hair roots have grown back significantly darker than before, a change she attributes to hormones and pregnancy. "I have never known my hair to grow back as dark as it grows back these days," she stated, adding that she still identifies as blonde and finds the dark roots jarring. She plans to visit a hairdresser to return her hair to its usual blonde shade.

"I look literally like a different person right now," Hague said in a recent YouTube video. "I look like a complete brunette and I just don't think I am a brunette."

She has also spoken about her evolving perspective on motherhood. Unlike her experience with her first child, daughter Bambi, Hague shared that she is finding more peace and reassurance during the newborn phase with Midas. "The BEST part for me about doing this second time round is knowing wholeheartedly that every hard day, stage and chapter with your child is honestly just a phase," she posted on Instagram.

She recalled feeling overwhelmed during Bambi's early days, thinking her life was over and she would never sleep or have a moment to herself. This time, however, she feels more equipped, knowing that challenging moments are temporary. "The peace I've felt this second time round, simply from knowing it's all going to be okay, has honestly changed everything," Hague added.

The influencer's reflections come after a tearful YouTube video discussing an incident involving Tommy Fury at a Halloween event in October. Fury was reportedly asked to leave Scare City theme park after allegedly intimidating staff during a night out. According to reports, he was seen 'staggering around' and 'squaring up' to staff members. A spokesman for Fury stated that he was engaging in a "jokey" manner with staff, while a spokesperson for Scare City confirmed they are investigating the matter.

Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury welcomed their son Midas in June, adding to their family which includes their daughter Bambi.
