Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury Enjoy Family Outing Amidst Discussions of Motherhood and Guilt
The couple was seen having a pub lunch with their children, Midas and Bambi, as Hague detailed her struggles with 'mum guilt' related to work travel.
Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury shared a family moment on Saturday with a pub lunch in Cheshire, accompanied by their baby son, Midas, and daughter, Bambi.
Hague, 27, was pictured holding four-month-old Midas, while Fury, also 27, attended to their iCandy pram. Hague appeared makeup-free for the casual outing, dressed in a grey top and black leggings, with Fury opting for a black padded jacket and joggers.
The outing follows Hague's candid discussion about experiencing "mum guilt" when she must leave her children for work commitments. She recently revealed feeling conflicted after overnight absences for work on two consecutive weeks.
Speaking on her vlog, Hague described the challenges of balancing her business ventures, travel, and motherhood. She noted that her youngest child, Midas, is now 15 weeks old, and she aims to limit her travel to no more than one night away.
"Even that, like to be honest with you, I did do feel a bit guilty because obviously I was in London last week for one night and now this week I'm in Germany for one night," Hague stated. She expressed a desire for detailed updates from her mother and a nanny, who were looking after Bambi and Midas during her absence.
Despite the guilt, Hague suggested that her work ultimately benefits her mental health and allows her to be a more effective mother. "I have always managed it quite well because I feel like guilt I feel guilty for saying that sometimes I don't always feel guilty because my work puts my mental state in a place where I can be a better mum," she explained.
She further elaborated that her career pursuits enable her to provide a better future and more opportunities for her children. "If I didn't work, if I didn't show up at work, if I didn't sometimes leave the children to go to work, I wouldn't be as good as mum as I could," Hague said. "I am because I go to work, if that makes sense. And I just I really value the time I get to work and to chase my dreams and to also create a better future for them and to give, you know, my family everything I want to give them."
The couple shares two children, Bambi, three, and Midas, four months.
