Model Lindy Klim's Daughter Suffers Seizure, Fall in Bali
Nineteen-year-old Stella Klim experienced a seizure while riding a motorbike in Bali, leading to a fall and injuries, according to her mother.
Model Lindy Klim has shared the harrowing experience of her 19-year-old daughter, Stella, suffering a seizure while riding on the back of a motorbike in Bali. The incident resulted in Stella falling from the bike and sustaining significant gravel rash.
Klim described the event as "the scariest few minutes of my life," expressing gratitude that her daughter escaped more serious harm. She posted an image of Stella's injuries on Instagram, detailing the unexpected seizure that caused her to fall. Klim stated she was only two minutes behind her daughter when the accident occurred and found her on the side of the road.
Despite the accident, Stella later joined her family for sunset, with Klim praising her daughter's resilience and calling her a "trooper."
The incident follows a recent update from Stella, who had shared that she had experienced her longest seizure-free period since her epilepsy diagnosis. She had told followers last week that she had gone "just over two months" without a seizure. However, Stella also spoke about the significant psychological toll the condition had taken, including anxiety and a fear of experiencing seizures without realizing it.
Stella, whose father is Olympic swimmer Michael Klim, has been living in Bali, where she moved with her family approximately 15 years ago. She has been vocal about her journey in learning to live with her diagnosis, expressing a determination to regain her confidence and independence.
