Model Caprice Bourret Relocates Family to Ibiza Due to London Crime

Model and businesswoman Caprice Bourret has relocated her family from London to Ibiza, citing concerns over rising crime rates in the UK capital. Bourret stated that the decision was prompted by two murders that occurred outside her London home.

Bourret, who is of American origin, described London, under the leadership of Mayor Sadiq Khan, as a "lawless capital." She recounted an incident where a victim, named Tyrone but known as Ty, died on her doorstep, a name shared with her husband, financier Ty Comfort. This event, among others, served as the final impetus for their move.

The family, including Bourret's two sons, Jax and Jett, aged 13, sold their £12 million six-bedroom mansion in west London in August and moved to the Spanish island. Bourret, who is Jewish, also mentioned feeling safer in Ibiza, where she no longer feels the need to conceal her Mezuzah, a traditional Jewish case containing Torah verses typically affixed to doorposts.

She noted that her sons now have more freedom in Ibiza, engaging in activities like riding scooters around the island, which allows her to worry less about their safety compared to when they were in London. Bourret has also found a new career producing and starring in Christmas romantic comedies, such as 'A Scottish Christmas Secret,' which she says depict an idyllic version of Britain.
