'MobLand' Season 2 Premieres on Paramount+ with Returning Cast and New Threats
The crime drama starring Pierce Brosnan, Helen Mirren, and Tom Hardy continues its storyline of fractured loyalties and power struggles.
Paramount+'s hit crime series "MobLand" returns for its second season on September 18, introducing new conflicts and continuing the saga of the Harrigan family. The new season picks up with the Harrigans struggling to maintain a united front against rising rivals who threaten their criminal empire. As tensions escalate within the family, Tom Hardy's character, Harry Da Souza, a street-smart "fixer," must navigate treacherous ground.
The official synopsis highlights that violence will permeate every aspect of the characters' lives, leading to strained loyalties, fleeting security, and a ruthless battle for power. The series, executive produced by Guy Ritchie, sees Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren reprising their roles as the patriarch and matriarch of the Harrigan crime family.
Despite earlier reports of on-set difficulties, Tom Hardy returns as the Harrigan family's fixer. His continued involvement in the series, alongside Brosnan and Mirren, was further confirmed with the show's renewal for a third season.
"MobLand" Season 2 will consist of ten episodes, with new installments released weekly on Fridays at 3 a.m. ET / 12 a.m. PT on Paramount+. Viewers can access the series through a Paramount+ subscription. The streaming service offers two plans: an ad-supported option for $8.99 per month and an ad-free plan for $13.99 per month. A seven-day free trial is available for new subscribers who sign up through Amazon Prime Video.
The cast for Season 2 includes Paddy Considine as Kevin Harrigan, Joanne Froggatt as Jan Da Souza, Lara Pulver as Isabella “Bella” Harrigan, Anson Boon as Eddie Harrigan, Jasmine Jobson as Zosia, Mandeep Dhillon as Seraphina Harrigan, Janet McTeer as Kat McAllister, Jordi Mollà as Jaime Lopez, and Toby Jones as Colin Tattersall, among others.
