MMA Fighter Claims Wardrobe Malfunction Led to $500K OnlyFans Earnings
Lucero Acosta's PFL debut ended in a knockout and a viral moment that she says boosted her adult content platform earnings.
MMA fighter Lucero Acosta has stated that an unfortunate wardrobe malfunction during her Professional Fighters League (PFL) debut resulted in substantial earnings on the subscription platform OnlyFans. Acosta's PFL debut against Shannon Clark in Chicago concluded with a third-round knockout. During the fight, as Acosta was on the mat taking hits, her sports bra shifted, briefly exposing her nipple.
The incident quickly gained traction on social media, with a clip of the moment circulating widely. Following the fight, Acosta posted on Instagram, suggesting she earned up to $500,000 from OnlyFans in the aftermath of the event, attributing the earnings to the exposure.
"Extra payment on @onlyfans because we showed our nipples during the @pflmma live," she reportedly wrote. "It's cute. Official sponsor."
The loss marked the end of a four-fight winning streak for Acosta, bringing her professional MMA record to 6-3. Despite the defeat, Acosta expressed pride in her performance, acknowledging a long period of inactivity before the fight. "Despite having six years of not fighting in public and a year and a half of inactivity, facing a strong fighter," she stated in another post. "I feel so proud for doing so well. This is just getting started. I promise you, I will come back stronger and more hungry for Success."
Acosta has previously garnered attention for her training methods, including underwater sessions in a bikini. She has cultivated a significant social media presence, with over 500,000 followers on Instagram.
