Mixed martial artist Lucero Acosta has claimed she received a substantial bonus on the adult subscription platform OnlyFans following a wardrobe malfunction during her PFL debut fight on Friday night in Chicago. Acosta, competing against Shannon Clark, experienced a mishap where her top shifted during a hold, briefly exposing her chest.
Despite the incident and ultimately losing the fight by technical knockout in the final round, Acosta took to Instagram to announce the financial benefit. "💰💰💰Extra payment on @onlyfans because we showed our nipples during the @pflmma live 😅 It’s cute.🤗😋 Official sponsor," she posted, referencing the event. She further shared a figure of $500,000 on her Instagram story, though the exact nature of this sum—whether it represents total earnings, new subscriber revenue, or another metric—was not clarified. Acosta did, however, appear to link this potential payday directly to the televised wardrobe malfunction.
The loss marked the end of a four-fight winning streak for Acosta, also known as “La Loba,” bringing her professional record to 6-3. Prior to her PFL debut, she had competed for Combate Global. Her previous popularity was highlighted by a viral video of her training underwater in a bikini.
Acosta's opponent, Shannon Clark, has now won four consecutive fights following her victory. The PFL event took place at the Wintrust Arena in Chicago.
