Missed Glastonbury Tickets? Here's How You Can Still Go

Fans who were unable to secure tickets for the Glastonbury Festival through the standard sales have alternative avenues to attend the event. Opportunities exist for individuals to volunteer, which can grant them a pass in exchange for work.

Volunteers typically commit to three eight-hour shifts to receive a festival pass, though the exact requirements can vary by organization. Oxfam, a long-time partner of Glastonbury, recruits around 2,000 volunteers annually. These volunteers assist with various roles, including working at the gates, engaging with the public for campaigns, or managing the charity shop on-site.

The Festaff stewarding team also requires volunteers to complete three eight-hour shifts in exchange for a pass, with duties described as "light enjoyable customer facing tasks." My Cause UK is seeking volunteers for their Internal Traffic Management team, involving four shifts of six hours and 15 minutes each.

Additional volunteer positions are available for medical teams, tent stewards, campsite wardens, and property lockups. Aspiring attendees have been cautioned about potential scams, with fraudulent individuals or companies falsely claiming to recruit volunteers. Those uncertain about the legitimacy of a recruitment offer are advised to contact the festival directly for verification.
