Missé Beqiri has spoken about the emotional toll of becoming a single mother to her eight-year-old daughter, River, after the death of her ex-partner, Jake Hall.

Hall, a former star of the reality television series 'The Only Way Is Essex' (TOWIE), died in May at the age of 35. He sustained fatal injuries from an incident involving a glass door at a villa in Mallorca.

Beqiri, 39, who is also a star of 'The Real Housewives Of Cheshire,' told The ARCADIA Online that while she wishes to be sensitive, the loss has been profound. She and Hall were not a couple at the time of his death but had shared a life and intended to marry.

"It's very sad to lose him, but the ones who are mostly affected are his family and our child," Beqiri stated. The couple had dated for five years before separating in 2021.

Navigating Grief and Parenting

Beqiri described the experience of raising River as a single mother as "scary," acknowledging the sole responsibility she now holds. "It's all on me; I am both parents to her," she said.

This is not the first loss Beqiri has experienced. Seven years ago, her brother, Flamur Beqiri, was fatally shot on Christmas Eve in 2019. Recalling that tragedy, she expressed her struggle to process grief, asking, "How is this happening to me again?"

On Father's Day, Beqiri shared a tribute to both Jake Hall and her brother, acknowledging them as fathers, sons, and brothers. She posted a picture of the two men together, expressing her love and gratitude for them, and emphasizing the importance of family and friends.

Remembering Jake Hall

Jake Hall's death has left a significant impact. His funeral was described as an "unconventional" event, featuring an exhibition of his paintings and tributes from friends and collaborators. His family announced the formation of The Choose Everything Foundation in his memory, with proceeds directed towards the foundation and his daughter, River.

Jake's brother, Sonny, spoke at the memorial, stating the family's intention to "continue his mission" of displaying his passions for art and fashion. He pledged to help care for River, reflecting on his brother's impactful life.

Hall first gained public recognition in 2015 as a cast member on TOWIE. He and Beqiri were previously engaged, though their relationship had faced difficulties, including a restraining order issued in 2017. Despite this, they reportedly maintained a cooperative co-parenting relationship.

Beqiri also has a son, Julian, from her previous marriage to Anders Lindegaard.
