Minnesota Woman's Mugshot Goes Viral for Resemblance to Jennifer Lopez

A mugshot of Cyrena Anne Quast, 35, has become a viral sensation on social media, with many users noting her strong resemblance to global superstar Jennifer Lopez.

Quast was arrested on August 30 and charged with gross misdemeanor theft for allegedly stealing two packs of power tool batteries, valued at $578, from a store in Monticello, Minnesota. The Wright County Sheriff's Office took her mugshot, which has since circulated widely online.

Social media users have expressed surprise at the likeness, with some joking that they initially mistook Quast for Lopez. One comment humorously suggested that if it were truly Lopez, the charge should have been for 'stealing vocals.'

Beyond the viral mugshot, Quast has a significant criminal record. Records indicate dozens of prior arrests dating back to 2011, encompassing charges such as drug possession, driving under the influence (DWI), theft, and fleeing police. She was reportedly released without bail following the recent arrest but must adhere to court-imposed conditions as her case proceeds.

According to reports, two days prior to her August 30 arrest, an employee at the same store identified Quast as a woman who left with batteries, driving a white Subaru. Police were provided with a description of the vehicle and its license plate.
