Controversial far-right commentator Milo Yiannopoulos is being held in U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) custody, according to reports. The 41-year-old British national was apprehended at an airport in Louisiana, though the specific circumstances of his detention were not immediately clear.

Yiannopoulos, a former editor at Breitbart News, previously worked as an unpaid summer intern for U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene in 2022. He also served as director of political operations for Kanye West's 2024 presidential bid.

He notably arranged a meeting between then-President Donald Trump and West, an event also attended by white nationalist Nick Fuentes. Yiannopoulos and West reportedly had a falling out in May 2024 following West's announcement of plans to launch an adult entertainment studio under his Yeezy brand.

The Department of Homeland Security did not immediately respond to requests for comment. An email sent to Yiannopoulos' representative also did not receive a response.
