Approximately 2.3 million bottles of Ricky Joy Sour Crush Rolling Liquid Candy have been recalled due to a potential choking hazard, according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). The agency warned that the rolling ball on the candy bottles can detach, posing a risk of serious injury or death.

The recalled product, Ricky Joy Sour Crush Rolling Liquid Candy Bottles, contains 1.85 fluid ounces of sour liquid candy. The bottles were sold individually and in packs of three or 12, featuring flavors such as blue raspberry, strawberry, green apple, and watermelon. The product is identifiable by the Ricky Joy logo, the words "EXTREME SOUR" and "SOUR CRUSH," and an image of a green monster on the front label.

These candy bottles were available nationwide from January 2023 through May 2026 at retailers including H-E-B, Forman Mill, and various other candy stores. They were also sold online through Walmart, CandyFunHouse.com, and RickyJoy.com.

The retail price was approximately $3 per bottle, with multi-packs costing between $13 and $32. The CPSC has stated that no injuries have been reported in connection with this recall.

Consumers are advised to immediately stop using the recalled candy bottles and keep them away from children. The Ricky Joy Company is providing refunds to consumers who return the product.
