Millie Mackintosh has offered fans a look into her new living arrangements, showcasing a 'chaotic' tour of her newly organized dressing room and outdoor patio area.
Mackintosh, 37, who previously shared a marital home with ex-husband Hugo Taylor, is establishing a new life in a rental house after their divorce was filed in February.
Dressing Room Organization
The former Made in Chelsea star transformed an office space into a walk-in wardrobe, utilizing IKEA units for her extensive clothing collection. While the current state is described as unorganized, Mackintosh expressed her intention to hire professional organizers to optimize the space. She noted the effective use of bookshelves for her shoe collection and plans to incorporate boxes for storage of items like hats.
"I have kitted it out with these lovely IKEA wardrobes, which are so nice and easy," Mackintosh shared on Instagram. "It's not very organised in the cupboards right now. I really need to get the lovely organisers Organised By Lucy to come in and help me."
She also revealed overflow items, including summer clothes and swimwear, yet to be fully unpacked.
Outdoor Entertaining Space
Mackintosh also provided a glimpse of her garden patio, which features a barbecue and an outdoor dining area. While the barbecue has seen minimal use, she expressed aspirations for future outdoor entertaining.
"I think over here along this wall, it would be nice to have some plants. I'd like some plants to grow up this wall, so you don't see so much of it," she commented on her plans for the garden.
She envisioned the space set up for late summer outdoor dinner parties, noting the potential for dressing up the area for entertaining.
New Home and Personal Touches
Last month, Mackintosh gave a tour of her living room, highlighting its period features and a large corner sofa. She mentioned that with her daughters returning to school, she is eager to continue planning and decorating the new house.
A dedicated work nook in the living room includes a desk and colorful artworks, with one piece incorporating her daughters' paintings. Mackintosh pointed out a 3D butterfly, explaining its symbolism of new beginnings and green as her healing color.
She also shared a peek at a 'dump cupboard,' a practical solution for managing clutter, which she stated is understood by those with ADHD.
