Millie Mackintosh has shared that she is experiencing anxiety and sleep difficulties as she navigates co-parenting her two daughters with ex-partner Hugo Taylor. The former Made In Chelsea star, 37, and Taylor, 40, officially filed for divorce in February after seven years of marriage. Mackintosh recently revealed that she has moved into a rental property and is focused on building a new life following the split.
Their daughters, Sienna, six, and Aurelia, four, now divide their time between their parents' separate residences. In a candid Instagram post detailing "recent realities," Mackintosh described the challenges of adjusting to this new arrangement. "I'm still adjusting to co-parenting and the girls living between two homes," she wrote. She also admitted to sleep disturbances and a resurgence of anxiety, stating, "I haven't been sleeping well and I can feel my anxiety quietly creeping back in."
The emotional strain has also manifested physically, with Mackintosh noting breakouts on her skin. "My skin has decided to have a teenage revival at 37," she commented. She indicated that she has been engaging in "deep healing work," including breathwork, which has brought to light the emotional burdens she has been carrying.
This personal update follows Mackintosh's recent tours of her new home, including a "chaotic" look at her converted office space now serving as a dressing room. She detailed her use of IKEA wardrobes and her plans for further organization, including the addition of boxes for items like hats and better storage solutions. She also showcased her extensive shoe collection, utilizing repurposed bookshelves for storage.
Mackintosh also offered a glimpse of her garden patio, equipped with a barbecue and dining area, expressing aspirations for future outdoor entertaining. Previously, she had shared a tour of her living room, a space designed with high ceilings and period features, including a large corner sofa and an area for her daughters to dance. She has also created a dedicated workspace, which she described as her first-ever desk area, decorated with colorful artworks, including a piece incorporating her daughters' paintings. A 3D butterfly in her office symbolizes new beginnings for her.
One notable adjustment for Mackintosh has been learning to handle activities like Lego with her daughters, which was previously done by Taylor. The youngest daughter, Aurelia, also began school in September, marking another significant change for the family. Mackintosh has acknowledged the need for help with organization, particularly in her new home, referencing the concept of a "dump cupboard" for items that need to be stowed away quickly.
